Ms. Hammer is  has been recognized in the Best Lawyers in America each year since 2005 and in Oregon Super Lawyers each year since 2006.  She was named the Oregon Mediation Lawyer of the Year in 2012 by Best Lawyers. She has been a Distinguished Fellow in the International Academy of Mediators since 2001 and a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals since 2010.  She has been listed in Who'sWhoLegal since 2015.

Susan has served as a mediator since 1988 and has mediated over 2,000 disputes. She is a member of the Oregon  State Bar Association.
